you are very dramatic. and make issues for yourself to deal with an dthen get all stressed about them. not every opportunity has to be seized...
CARPE DIEM!
i wrote a creative essay about carpe diem in eighth grade. i think it was about someone who goes hang gliding in order to seize the day and ends up dying, crashing on the craggy cliffs below (like my alliteration?). seize the day doesn't mean to do stupid things. seize the day means to take advantage of opportunities that will bring you blessings. and not anguish. in my own very wise words which i just made up, "seize the day, but make sure the day doesn't seize you." haha. not bad for a dumb art student.
im waiting for some dramatic cutco postings... like "someone's no longer choking me. now they're stabbing a cutco knife in my heart..." bwahahahaha

Niqui do u ever feel like the evil in the world is slicing ur heart up with a cutco knife into slivers, sizzled in the sun, then served as a delicacy? Well thats how i feel and when people tell me they love me it doesnt take away from the evil out there. Its as if the are taking a sliver of my heart and chewing it until finely chopped and digested. The evil is unperishable and we are being sliced and eaten.
(I just went against every rule there is in bullshitting. I just bullshitted a bullshitter)

btw - i said cruelty not evil. i believe that everything is created is "good," some is just concealed G-dliness. The things we perceive as evil... G-d created all of that, too.

bout carpe diem...
ok here i may have given it a negative spin, but I live life with this slogan constantly on my mind, ever since I saw Dead Poet Society (which if anyone hasnt seen its awesome). I like to think of it in the following respect:
Carpe Diem - Sieze the Day!
Make every moment count. Don't take anything for granted, it may be whisked away from you in the blink of an eye. Everyone, everything, all the time = precious. (whisper it like in LOTR)
Make the most of life; sieze it!
youre gonna start hating when i post here soon. but if i was your english teacher i'd give you a hard time with that. you didnt do anything other than repeat what carpe diem means literally. but not what it means practically.
(and dead poets society was a good movie until i thought about it. :) )
cuz, chav, u said "not every opportunity has to be seized," so I replied, "Carpe Diem," bc I do seize every opportunity...even if its just to dramatize and "add spice"(snort). Seems as practical as it gets - to me...Got it???
by seizing "every opportunity" - as you see it - you are so obviously leaving some out. :)
and what is means practically is where people begin to err. i know quiet a few people who have seized things now that will just end up going away. fleeting. or already have lost what they seized. and they're left with less than they had before. so what are they really seizing? nothing. they just end up losing themselves.
not that this is what you were writing about at all initially. i am well aware of that. but im having fun having warped, semi-intellectual discussion on your blog. blog. blogger.
